SILLEM attends its customers throughout the entire commissioning process of the plants, ensuring that the machines are ready to operate efficiently and safetly from day one.
Upon the arrival of the line at the customer’s facilities, a SILLEM team handles the assembly and positioning of the system in the dedicated line, replicating the conditions tested at our factory. This phase represents the prelude to commissioning of the machine.
Subsequently, a complete staff training, is conducted, covering both the mechanical as well as the electronic and software aspects of the plant. The duration of the training is proportional to the type of the machine and the complexity of the production process. During the training, our programmers demonstrate step-by-step to the operators:
- the potential and limits of the system,
- the optimal work programs to fully exploit its production capacity,
- the finishing refinement techniques on the workpieces.
The training also includes:
- operational safety: guidelines on permitted activities during the production cycle,
- routine maintenance: instructions to ensure correct operation and preserve production continuity,
- quality control: tips for maintaining the desired finish level constant throughout the machine’s entire lifespan.
At the end of the installation and training process, the customer’s personnel are fully trained and the system is ready for production startup, ensuring uniform and constant finishing over time.
